Coming over the hill from Santa Marta you can see that Taganga isn’t a large place. It really is about 4 to 6 blocks along the beach and 2 or 3 blocks deep, not much else. So far I have walked pretty much all of it. It has a bit of a different vibe to it, kind of a low scale area with lots of tourism. The prices are similar to parts of Cartagena, at least for food and rooms.
I had diner with Will and Claire at a resturant called Pacha mamas. I had a fillet mignon with a blue cheese sauce and it was really good. It was raining a bit so we had to move from our table to the bar, then these people finished so we moved to another table under the tent thingy. Didn’t do much after, the room I am staying in has air conditioning, and I am directly under it. It was GLORIOUS!!! Was planning on staying here just the one night but now think I will stay a few more. The aircon changed my mind.
Tomorrow I will explore the town some more and do some diving. Hope the diving is good!!!
More later…
