This last week went pretty well, we finally got out to Banco Chincurro and it was a very nice dive, other than the two hour boat ride to get there.  Back at base we have been diving everyday and even monitoring new sites.  We found a new site and it is the best one so far.  Wish we could have found it earlier. Party night on wednesday was a theme party and our theme was Under the Sea. Lots of people made costumes, I took a broom and cut a  horse head shape out of cardboard and went as a seahorse.  The party wasnt that great alot of people went to bed early and it was just not as exciting as I figured the last night would be.  Me and Mike left a day early to go cenote diving one last time. It was amazing one of my favorite dives ever!!!

Its been an interesting 10 weeks, some weeks took forever and others flew by.  I met so many interesting people and am looking forward to keeping in touch with them.  I am in Playa waiting to go diving tomorrow and then I fly out for the states and real life.  I am glad to be leaving as I am ready to try something new, but I really dont want to go home and back to work. I am going to ease back into real life with a short stop in california before going home.

hmmm….well this week hasnt been so good.  We havent dove at all and the weather looks like it will remail bad for a few more days.   Life on base is good, but when we are not diving I am becoming bored.  I have read just about all the books I can.  I made a trip into town to use the internet and eat good food, becuase there really wanst anything else to do.  We are still planning to go to Banco Chinchurro this weekend and it really cant get here fast enough.  There was talk of a night dive on the full moon, but the waves are to big to dive during the day so it is very unlikely that we can get out at night.  oh well….   Only one more week to go, where did it all go it feels like I just got here at times, and others its been years lol…
